First of all, you'll find folk cures and herbal tea mixtures, but also goods to burn as a gift for the gods. Coco leaves, skins of snakes and all sorts of figurines have this purpose. Local women, wearing just two braids tied behind, are now competing against new vendors selling alpaca jumpers. The market is held in Calle Linares and I visited it for fun too some 3 years ago. Will you keep the secret if I tell you what I bought? An amulet for a long and happy sex life :)
